Art is a journey . . .

Art has always been an important part of my life.
A journey rather than a destination.

​I started my art journey many years ago as a painter.    

Over the years, I've sold my work at art shows, galleries and open studio events.  I've painted, printed, sculpted, created artists' books and dabbled with a variety of craft projects.  Additionally,  I've conducted workshops and painted murals. I've designed a greeting card line and an ornament line,  judged and curated exhibits and operated my own galleries. 

I was artist/owner of Connextions Gallery, a Northern California contemporary art collective, with locations in Sausalito, St. Helena and Healdsburg and a working partner in The Artful Eye Gallery in Cloverdale.

After more than twenty years as an art retailer, I closed the galleries and relocated to the Puget Sound area of Washington State.  I didn't actually retire.  I simply shifted focus.  Recently, small works created from clay or glass, have become my passion.  I enjoy using color, pattern, and form to transform raw materials into small decorative or functional items of joy and happiness. 

I continue to create from my home studio in Kingston, Washington and exhibit at occasional local art events
